What is SHECanScan?
SHECanScan is India’s first all-women cancer screening center focused on early detection of Breast and Cervical Cancer.
I'm nervous about my first screening. What steps does the center take to ensure the process is gentle and emotionally supportive?
We prioritize your emotional comfort above all else. Our specialized technicians are trained in gentle touch techniques and provide clear, step-by-step communication throughout the process. Before starting, we ensure you have complete clarity on the procedure, and we offer private consultation rooms to discuss any anxieties. Our goal is to make every screening feel like a personalized, caring experience, not just a medical necessity.
How far in advance should I book an appointment for a routine check-up, and what information do I need to provide beforehand?
For routine annual screenings, we recommend booking at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time, especially if you require an evening or weekend slot. When booking, please have your full name, date of birth, contact details, and a brief note on the specific service you require (e.g., “annual full body screening” or “specific scan”). This ensures we allocate the right specialist and duration for your visit.
Are your screenings safe and painless?
Absolutely. All tests are non-invasive, safe, and performed by trained female professionals.
How long does the screening take?
Usually between 20 to 30 minutes depending on the type of test.
If I need to reschedule or cancel my screening appointment, what is the required notice period?
We understand that changes in schedule happen. We request that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient awaiting care. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a nominal rescheduling fee.
